Solbeso is the worlds first spirit distilled from fresh cacao fruit and the first new category of spirits in nearly 200 years.
While cacao seeds are dried and used for chocolate production, Solbeso ferments hand-picked fresh cacao fruit to create this versatile yet characteristic new-to-world 40% ABV base spirit. Fresh cacao fruit is harvested, fermented and double-distilled in a custom-built copper alembic using a proprietary technique designed to capture the flavor, complexity and character of select fine-flavored cacao varietals. The innovative process and work takes place in collaboration with local cacao farmers and cooperatives across Latin America, where Solbeso is being adopted as the drink of Summer, often simply enjoyed over ice.
Solbeso, with it’s bright, characteristic open of honey-suckle and apple, a fresh, floral nose and a soft, smooth finish with hints of vanilla and coco, is an entirely new taste journey.
